I just wonder: Why haven't Plus! asked me to update to this version? Do I need MSN Messenger 6.1 first or something? I got the update to 2.20.53 automatically, but I haven't heard anything about 2.21. Why?

you don't need 6.1..... and plus! does NOT have a auto-update

auto update, that might be good thing to have added on to msgplus program if possible...
and... it will not tell you to update msn messenger, because msn 6.1 is only a BETA version so far...

Plus! does have the Auto-Update feature, but it's disabled to avoid the site to go down.  (that's right, isn't it, Patchou?)

Well, I wasn't lying when I said that Messenger Plus have updated itself automatically earlier. It has. I just wondered why this automatical update have stopped, but Choli answered that question (kind of).

yeah i know that, but it it's not used then the MsgPlus Service doesn't have auto-update, nm

Not really coz that auto-update has never been used, or if it has it was used LONG ago....

Yeah, is was used long time ago, it was quiet cool

actually, thanks to my sponsor's servers, the auto-update is back since last july. You just never noticed it because it checks for update every weeks and you always update Messenger Plus! the day I release new versions .

Also, if you installed Messenger 6.1 before you instsalled Plus! 2.21, you'll never get an auto-update notification... this was caused by a bug in the software that is now solved, so no new version of Messenger should prevent the auto-update to do its job (at least, as long as you see a Plus! menu in your contact list window).

weird.... and talking about updates.... whens 2.21.55 going to be released?
