Just a question though going through the seting are the default settings ok or is it better to edit them..and if so what is the best setting to have?

They are not important features or things that will make your Windows stop crashing. They are just little UI for functionality tweaks, and they are all described inside the program.

u shud hav an import/export settings like in plus

Why should I put that feature if it's in Plus!? You can use Plus! to backup and restore your settings

i get this error when i try to run it:

i tried running it with Messenger closed and messenger open.


Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 6.1.0155
Messenger Plus! Version: 2.50.0066

Your error is strange because you have XP and you shouldn't have any problem. Anyway, read http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=15...d=138209#pid138209 and donwload the file. Put it in the same folder where my program is or in c:\windows\system32

btw, you can use the program with messenger opened or closed. Doesn't matter.
