I think you know your username and password

Now, you don't need to set SMTP verification. Just use smtp.blueshore.net as SMTP server.

Can you tell me what program you use? Maybe I can help you  better then.

i use thunderbird (mozilla). how do i set hte password to use?

I can't use the smtp server. Outlook says I can't sign in in at server and that I have to check the user name and password. I use the same config I use for pop3, so where's the problem?

Edit: I didn't read the last posts, but my problem is the same as bach_m's one.

thats the problem i have! i still dont know whats up with it. i might just use my ISP's..... if i can find the settings

It works for me with Mozilla

Properties - Server Settings:
- Server Name: pop3.blueshore.net
- User name: name@msgplus.net
- Port: 110

Outgoing SMTP:
- Server Name: smtp.blueshore.net
- Port: 25
DO NOT SELECT "USE NAME AND PASSWORD"

This should work... Good luck

In outlook uncheck "my outgoing server (SMTP) requires autentification"

still don't work i'll just go find the  settings for my ISP *tear*

if the smtp server from blueshore doesn't work for you, use the one from your ISP

outlook works fine for me too when i uncheck the "my outgoing server (SMTP) requires autentification" option...
