Did AVG not have problems with the sponsor before? I think I remember it being mentioned in another post.

I don't know much about these virus things, but the name of the virus does seem to have some resemblance with the previous one

i figured out why ur firewall asks about it! its cuz the setup redirects you to msgplus.net!

I don't believe this at all, and forgive me if I'm being harsh or anything, that's why I edited this post - to tell you I don't mean any harm. I don't know you or have any reason to disbelieve you, but because of all the idiots that have spread rumours, I jumped to conclusions.

Bach_m was kind enough to spare some time and check this out. I installed the Sponsor version, didn't realise !  It looks like a similar thing happened before. I was just pointing this out so thoes in the know could investigate further.

If you don't belive it, then check the attachment I posted earlier. A virus was reported by my AVG software, which is why I posted a message here, as I couldn't see any other way of conatacting the software writers.

My belief is that It's better to be safe and report it, rather than say nothing.

My version of the program is now working, so I'll say nothing more on the matter.

Don't worry about AVG warning,s we talked about it some month ago... AVG is detecting one of the sponsor installation files as being a virus.. as it has ben proven, it'S not true, you have nothing to worry about
