Yeah it does that so that the script doesn't break. It's my first ever PHP script. I've edited the Captions file so that there's no \ in your entry.

Hmm, I notice it didn't do that to a guy before me though. I understand PHP has to escape the apostrophes but it's annoying. It did this to my script too once - if you find out how to stop it, let me know, please.

Does anyone know how to get rid of PHP escaping the ' and " by slashes?

the function you need may be this one : stripslashes
