RE: Christmas @ Msgplus.net
Well, how are you supposed to make them not transparent if they're the same color as the background?
I'm no graphics expert... I don't know how to mess with palettes and stuff...

Some programs allow you to use masks instead of colors for the transparency.
Anyway, the real way is to fill that space with another color, like green or fuchsia, and then make THAT color transparent.

RE: Christmas @ Msgplus.net
But what if that fill color isn't in the palette?
* WDZ would increase the color depth, add the color, then decrease the depth, but that might affect the quality...
Also it's quite a bit of work to do that to each frame, and I'm lazy.

Normaly in a good created image evry color is in use. So you have to add a new one. For GIFS you can use 2^x number of colors (limit=256). So if an image has 7 colors (like the bananaxmas) you actually can use 1 color without enlarging the palet...
It is indeed a bit of work...
