The (new) location to change is at 0x000206D4 (this is another location then previous versions!)...

There are three TAB-services available (including two with extra games!):

The first one is the one by Jared_ (who is currently developping the ability to add/remove tabs), more can be found here: http://msntabs.ausmade.net/.
To use this service, you have to go to location 0x000206D4 and change
http://config.messenger.msn.com/Config/MsgrConfig.asmx
into
http://msntabs.ausmade.net/MsgrConfig.asmx############
(where # is a 0-byte thus 0x00)

Rolando's patch does exactly that... (this patch will also work for futur versions)
(The tabs you get: MSN Alerts, Neowin, MsgPlus, MSNFanatic, Triople-Extended... )
(NOTE: CURRENTLY THIS SERVICE SEEMS TO BE DOWN)



The second service is the one by Koen, more can be found here: http://games.mess.be/.
To use this service, you have to go to location 0x000206D4 and change
http://config.messenger.msn.com/Config/MsgrConfig.asmx
into
http://appdirectory.brinkster.net/Conf/MsgrConf.asmx?T

Koen's patch does exactly that...
(The tabs you get: MSN Alerts, MSN GSM, MSN Entertainment, Neowin, MsgPlus, MSNFanatic, Triople-Extended... This patch will also enable the extra games!!!)



The third service is the best one IMO. It is made by Daniel, more can be found here: http://www.msnfanatic.com/tabserv/. To use this service you need to register your account and apply a patch to your MSN Messenger. With this service you can create your own tabs AND you can set up the custom games made by Koen.

IMPORTANT
If you're not  experienced with patching & hex-editing then use:
Rolando's patch for enabling Jared's service...
or use:
Koen's patch for enabling Koen's service (including extra games)...

To patch a file yourself, you must be very experienced and you must know exactly what you're doing...

CLOSE messenger completly before applying the patch (this goes also for ANY patch you use)! And remember Koen's patch (v0.8) is ONLY for MSN Messenger 6.1.0207; Rolando's and Daniel's patch should work for all MSN 6.1 builds...

how to do it? i would take the risk

I used the first service, tabs didn't appear, but all the expedia, etc, etc tabs disappear, so I guess, its ok! Maybe I'll learn to do it good some day.

How can i kr8 my own MsgrConfig.asmx ??
There are so many tabs i'd like to add... and I don't want to wait for Jared's new project

I dont get that, and welll umm... where do you get a HEX EDITOR?

did that... didn't work =/
I had no tabs at all... regarding that I usually get the normal MSN Messenger tabs.

winhex?
