"You cannot edit posts in this thread because it is closed." that is what I see when I click the  "quote" button in a closed thread. I hoped I helped you by telling this, so it can be fixed.

Post it in the official mybbug forum at http://community.mybboard.com (but check it hasn't been fixed in rc1 yet)

posting in a thread is kind of editing the thread, so quoting too... But I agree the "edit posts" is wrong 

Hmm... looks like someone was too lazy to add an error template for quoting in a closed thread.

I'll add that little bug to my to-do list.

then i'd have to register there, and maybe WDZ edited something in closed_quote. And this forum software is also alpha, isn't it? (which means that after rc1, something small like this could've been changed)

It's in RC1. I checked Mnjul's Forums (# Middle sea now) and it has the same problem.

yeah, well, whatever. WDZ added it to his to-do list, so all we have to do is check in a month or something if it's been fixed...

like he put RC1 in his to-do list

Either that or too lazy to hide the quote button in closed threads :chongue:
The error template is still necessary though, for situations like threads being closed after the post reply link has been loaded by someone, then them clicking it
