If we put it under the IP, it's precisely to avoid having it left aligned, therefore confusing itself with the post and sig. So, aligning the IP to the left: no way.

It can't be confused with the signature when it's on the same line as the IP thingie, as I said... Though it's kinda messy, it would look differently on different resolutions and stuff.... So it's not such a good idea I guess.

Why do we have to have everything different from other sites?

Keep it where it's at man it's just in the right place and it shows exactly whats been edited if it's next to the sig people may start getting confused

Keep it where it is. It's fine where it is, and I think it'd just look crap under the IP thing, to be honest.

New idea: get rid of the bloody IP notice.

If you put it under IP, that will be dodgy The ip is after the sig and the post ends before the sig so the text "this post has been edited by..." would make no much sense (after the sig) I've read very quickly this thread, maybe others sasid something similar.
The text we're talking about, is about the post, not the sig nor anything else, so it should go just after the post, ie. where it's now.

Also, the IP address: logged should not be shown to us, non admin/mods members, because we can't use it so ...

So? the post time is also not under the post, but under the user profile, and we all understand what the time is about. Many other popular BBs have it under the sig, and I'm not saying we must have it like that just because they do, instead that they have it because it looks better.
