Alright, though this was posted once before, it went unresolved to my knowledge.

I'm running Windows XP Pro, and MSN Messenger for the sole purpose that I hate Windows Messenger. Plus! 2.54.74 (December 19, 2003) is running, and being somewhat evil.

I've gone to the Preferences->Notifications->Contact Defaults
and checked "Contact Goes Offline" and 'Contact Changes his/her name" as well as "Enable Plus! Notification windows" in the Notifications tab.

For some reason, I never get a pop-up window when someone goes offline. I hear the sound, and it works fine for when my contacts change their name, and my status is Online...I'm completely baffled.

That's wierd...

In the Plus! Event Log window, does it see people going offline there?

Yup, it does.

can you see other popups from plus? and from messenger?
one day that happened to me. I don't know why, but just after restarting all worked well.

I see the "Idiot Contact Who I'm Never Going to Talk to is online" and "Idiot Contact Who I'm Never Going to Talk to has changed his/her name to Idiot Contact Who I'm Never Going to Talk to without a life."

No one can help me?
