Once you switch off signature viewing, the signature previewer (when you edit your signature) won't show it as well... I hope that isn't on purpose

…yeah he’s right I just tested it…I can’t see a point for it though, unless it’s just because something’s disabled that allows you to view signatures and so as a consequence you can’t see the preview because they both access it. I’m probably wrong I’ve never had a peak at the MyBB coding.

Isnt this a limitation? If you don't view signatures anything apart from your edit sig page won't show because you've disabled them?

Guess so, but it's stupid... if you don't want to view it yourself, doesn't mean you don't want to make a good impression on other people...

Well mybb uses 1 function to generate posts, and the sig previewer just prepares a bogus post and puts it through that function... as it is, there's no parameter to control the sig as it uses your setting... i guess it could change the preference on in the local environment while previewing though, and that's easily doable... i'll post it

Kind of a limitation, though it's easily fixed. I just never thought of it because it's a strange concept...

If you disable sig viewing, sig viewing is disabled.
