It is a GUI bug... There is something wrong with the icon...

yup the bug is there for me aswell and im using a compeltely different theme

The way I see it, I post my review, Dane posts his, you post yours etc...eventually its all gonna get out...besides I left quite a bit of stuff out of mine...

Why not, it represents a window. Windows have a background, they are not transparent. It's just a redesigned icon from Mp2, there was already an icon like this there.

The image looks fine to me!  Mind i'm simple minded when it comes to stuff like this especially at 2am

in your screenshot, the icon makes sense (-> The light blue border around the icon)... But on the default XP theme it looks like shiit because the titlebar is already lightblue, and the "titlebar" in the icon seems like an error in the iconfile itself on that theme...

So for us the white wasn't the background of a window (which can be seen in your SS), but a non-transparent background in the icon itself. And the dark-blue bar across the icon seemed like a bug in the icon. (while in your SS it is clear that it is a titlebar of the window)
