Can I enable messenger 6.2 to run on my school's computer?
my system admin at school has is set up to not allow me to sign-in

There is probably a proxy that blocks access to messenger.msn.com, which means that unless you can bypass the proxie its a no go

Unfortunately if the school computers (I assume it's a LAN) Firewall blocks MSN Messenger out as an application it's impossible...

Most sensible admins know of these and block them...the school's have special ISP's that filter them

my admin lets me on the web based ones, she just has to block the real one because of state laws... and the app. isn't blocked, it lets me try to sing in and tells me it couldn't do it.....
