Hi...
Yesterday i received a PM from someone...I didnt got any message box when i received it...

While i was browsing the forums i saw : "Private Messages: New 0, Unread 1, Total 16." ...
The bug is...:

1)I didnt got a message box about the pm.
2)New was saying 0
3)The arror on the left wasnt blue...

So is this a bug?

Well it should be enabled because when i receive other PMs i get the message box...

Indicates that there are no new PM's since your last visit, and so the private message alert will not popup, and the icon will not turn blue.

Unread just means there is a message which remains unread in your inbox.

Well the pop-up says you have a "new" message, It doesnt say you have an "unread" message. So that's probably why that doesnt show up.

Mike2: If you read above, you'll see that Chris did actually explain this in his last post too.

In other words, the message was in your inbox last time you visited, so it isn't new...it's just unread.
