RE: Plugin Help
First, look for uninstallers. If you can't find any, close down all Messenger related programs and go to your plug-in directory (most likely C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 2\Plugins). Delete all files to delete all plug-ins.

RE: Plugin Help
Some plugins have uninstallers. You can use them. However other plugins don't have. You should delete the DLLs of those plugins from the folder of plugins. That folder is usually c:\program files\messenger plus! 2\plugins . Note that to delete the DLLs you have to close completly messenger.

To delete Plus! plugins, you will need to completely stop MsgPlus.exe, msnmsgr.exe and possibly AlphaToast.exe and dimension.exe
you don't need to stop MsgPlus.exe neither the others. Stoping msnmsgr.exe (ie: closing messenger) is enough.

no problem

So does stopping messenger stop Plus! from using it's dll files?

Yah , When Messenger has been shut-down Messenger Plus! has no need to check for plug-ins. Because plug-ins only work with MSN Messenger and if its not running what are they to do? Don't know why you said AlphaToast and Deminsion either , They have nothing to do with Messenger Plus! :-/

when messenger isn't running, Plus doesn't load the DLLs, that's why you can delete them. When Messenger is launched, Plus loads them in memory and Windows doesn't let you delete a loaded DLL.

In fact, MsgPlus.exe doesn't have anything to do with the DLL of plugins. MsgPlus.exe just loads the main DLL of Plus (msgplush.dll) in messenger. The rest is done by that dll.

Just wanted to let you know...

No need to stop Dimension when doing anything regarding Messenger Plus!  - they are both completely separate - Dimension does not utilize any msgplus DLLs or anything!

jon
