Yes, I know, TheBlasphemer wrote a program that decrypted it from the registry :dodgy:

But it's a pain having to type that all over again every time :p

if someone can tell me how to do that, that would be nice. I don't know how this could be done :-/

I have four checkboxes on the General tab (first section):
  • The first one is for loading Messenger when starting Windows (checked)
  • The second one is for showing main window when starting Windows (not checked)
  • The third one is for connecting automatically when connected to the Internet (checked)
  • The fourth is for showing MSN Today (not checked)

isn't it the 3rd option the one you're looking for? Of course, you have to sign in manually once and check the box at the window where you write your email & pass in order messenger remembers them.

But you make it sound like it connects automatically when starting Windows, but it doesn't do that.

no, when you run messenger (Start > Programs (or all programs) > MSN Messenger). If you want messenger sign in automatically when starting Windows, you have to check the 1st and 3rd options

Well, that's what it should happen

My Messenger doesn't load on start-up or connect automatticlly. But I have it set to remember my password because its a pain re-typing my password everytime and by now I have forgotten what my password is

Besides , I have my own computer  , With no siblings , Im sure my parents would love to hack into my account and ask all my freinds out and ruin my social life ,
