I just got plus!3

when i try to hover over the ''('' to get the quick icon panel('s)..then nothing seems to happen....

i use msn messenger 6.2 and msn plus 3 ...

is there someone else with this same prob. or am i the only one


what must I do to get the quick icon panel back ?





ps. plz dont mind my poor english it is not that good since I'm Dutch

Welcome to these forums , it's not a bug in Plus!3 as it works for me. Be sure to have the option "Emoticon hulpvenster inschakelen" enabled under "Bericht helpers" >> "Emoticons".

thx for your reply...but I had that ''Emoticon hulpvenster inschakelen'' already enabled....but it still won't work

could there be any other ways to fix that problem ?

You should maybe restart messenger to get it to work.

what exactly do you mean about "hover over the "(" "?

when i type ''(''  ( shift + 9 ) and I hover over it with the mouse... then i should get a quick icon panel ( emoticons )

but now it dont react anymore ... it's not big problem....just I wonder how i can get this fixed again....

i reinstalled msn plus 3 ... restarted my pc & msn... i tried all kind of diffrent settings....but it still seems to ignore my wishes


should I reinstall msn 6.2 as well ?

You should press "(" under "5" under the F-keys (what keyboard do you have, azerty or qwerty? )

You don't have to hover over it with your mouse, just wait 800 milliseconds and you should see the list .

well i have the similiar problem
when i used the instant display shortcut(CTRL+z) for quick icon panel
nothing happened~
BUT while typing "(" , it works

so......HELP!!!

well isn't that because ctrl+z is for 'undo' or atleast here it is, and if "(" works, then there's no problem?

Ctrl + Z is usually used by the undo conmmand. Try using another shortcut (like Ctrl + Alt + Z)
