there seems to be a problem with my msn
i had this option, that messenger plus! hides the banner, you know?
but ever since i installed messenger 6.2, the banner just keeps appearing as a banner-ghost although the option is still active
it has continued even after messenger plus! 2 updating and after installing messenger plus! 3

did u try reinstalling MSN 6.2?

Try to disable and re-enable the feature. It might fix it.

i tried re-installing messenger 6.2 AND re-enabling the banner hiding, but neither of them worked

i mean that the banner appears sometimes randomly, but when i click on the "I want to..." button it dissapears again or sometimes dissapears halfly

This issue was brought up when Messenger Plus!3 wasn't released yet, Messenger Plus!2 was experiencing this. I never recieved this while Beta Testing Messenger Plus!3

Does this happen all the time?
If so I would like you to try this little exe that will use an API function to hide the banner.

If the small exe works and hides it then we know its just a problem with the way Patchou is hiding the banner.

the banner used to show up every now and then, but not very often so i really can't be sure it worked, but so far, i think, it has worked

edit: it doesn't work... when resizing, the banner-ghost still appears
