Is there someone who works/worked with Eudora? I'm trying it now and want to get rid of the window where you can see the message's content in for security reasons. Does anyone have an idea?

I never used eudora but you can probably do this with some api calls...
Find the handle of the bottom window and then hide it(or destroy it).
I never used eudora so i cant tell you...

It's not that I don't want to see it, I don't want Eudora opening any e-mails when I click on them. And the windows are pretty much one . There's a way to do it in OE, but I can't seem to find it in Eudora.

Then again, Eudora may not the security holes that OE has...

It's not really about security holes, each program has them. But I was thinking about the risk of activating a virus when opening an e-mail without even getting to the attachement.

i think i understand what your talking about, try going to tools and than options and click viewing mail than under preview pane uncheck show message preview pane

OE is very much used, Eudora is not. So the risk is extremely low. It is handy to hide that window though, so you can delete spam messages without reading them. If there's an image loaded in the spam-e-mail, they might now that your e-mail address works..

Oh, btw, I use Eudora (sometimes). Mostly I use KMail.

Quick question Eudora is like Outlook Express right??
