O.P. Win98SE and Notifications config bug??
On this machine I run Win98SE + MSN 6.2 + Plus!3.

The problem I got is when I only want to receive notification when soem people on my contact list logs on. So I Disable it in MSN 6.2, and restart MSN and go to the Notifications Configuration window by way of the contact list quick-icon that appears when i hover the mouse over the contact I want to get notification from.  (Get notified of contact's actions...)

But the "Contact signs-in" checkbox is disabled, I can't set it. What am I missing here? Please help.

Edit: I should add that the other three checkboxes are enabled, its just the 4th one, the one that matters that's disabled.

To be able to set this option, you need to specify it in the Preferences first.

Go to the preferences panel, and in the Notification section, click Extra and Popup Defaults. Then, enable the third box (bottom of the panel). You should be able to set it now :)
