uhh.. well, since there's enough alternative shit, I can live without most programs. I mean, there are thousands of mail-programs. So who cares? But I like Opera's special features. aMSN would also be on my list, I think.. Let me take someone else's list..

Apple stuff: Nope
Imaging and animation: Gimp
File Sharing: I don't do that
Burning programs: Don't do that either (well, haven't done that for a month or 2). K3b maybe? But there are probably lots of alternatives
Browsers: Opera Konqueror is also nice (and it is also a filebrowser)
Anti adware & spyware: Don't need that
Norton: Nope
IM: aMSN
Extractors: Ark [couldn't find website]
Navigation: Nope
Skinning: Why would I need that? I don't need special programs just to change my toolbar a bit
Ram optimizor: is that any good?
FTP: I really like gFTP, but it isn't anything special. It's like WS_FTP LE
Games: not on my PC, Frozen-bubble!! Rocks!! but I really like my NGC games
Editors: uhhh... OpenOffice for school.. Kate as editor (not to write letters and stuff, I use OpenOffice for that )
Mail: KMail
Multimedia: XMMS (WinAmp clone for Linux)
