I love the new Messenger Plus! 3.x, but I'm yet another time dissapointed that I can't press [F2] in the contact list to rename contacts. It's also a bit dull that the contact list can't be sorted on the custom names, but that's not as important as [F2] renaming.

Other than that, the new version is awesome. It has a lot of features I didn't even know I would ever want, and now I'm addicted to them!

[F2] thingy: Suggested before but not done. Patchou didn't say he'd do it (nor he wouldn't do).

Sort contacts: Suggested before (even more) but impossible to be done. If one day that's possible, I think Patchou'll add it.

maybe you're right, I dunno, but i think patchou said it's impossible (althought he may have thought: "too much work for me" )

someone could make a plugin a bit like better msn that uses plus's custom name list

You can't sort custom names because MSN Messenger sorts them by email..as Plus! utilises the "sort contacts by email" function..it's doing exactly that, Plus! just makes it show your custom names instead of their emails.

at F2 renaming, would be very handy

Re-sorting the contacts would be very difficult the way Messenger is working right now and would require much too much work.

As for F2 renaming, I know it sounds trivial but it isn't . It's just not at the top of my priority list right now but I don't dismiss the idea .
