hi Patchou,
I recently installed MSN Messenger 6.20.133 and Msnplus 3.0092 on WinXP Pro SP1 and when I associate a sound (wav) with a user login/logout the wav file plays in its entirety instead of the default 12 seconds.
Is there a way to change this I tried to edit the registry and changing the default sound length to 10 seconds but it still plays the full wav file instead of just 10 seconds.
I am using the default MPEG1 codec.

I downloaded msgplustweak.exe 1.221
then I ran it.
Restarted my pc (just to make sure)
Logged on again and it still does the same thing

All seems right. If you change the ContactSoundMaxTime setting, it should work. If it doesn't, then it's a bug in plus, i think. Does that happen if you use MP3s instead of WAVs?
