my friend thinks that the new menu can be annoying if u are a seasoned plus user and know where everything is, cos it can be quite hard to think where something will be, so i think a switch to classic view button would be quite useful

Well the new layout was designed to help find and understand all of the plus features better. I don't mind it really considering i was really used to the old menu.. but it doesn't take long to get used to

A classic switch button would be kind of pointless as it doesn’t have any purpose except to have an original view for those who used plus! and knew where the features where on the old menu. Plus! has changed, the menu has changed and it shouldn’t take long to adapt

Yah he is talking about classic veiw. I don't really like that idea much , Patchou would pretty much have to remake it. And besides , its made to be more user freindly. You will probably get used to it eventually , It took me a while but its actually more organized if you ask me.

(It is gonna take me a while to get used to the new forums)

i dnt think itd b that hard, windows does it. And i am talking about the plus prefrences panel

At first I had the same feeling as your friend; I couldn't find anything... But it took me only 2 days to get used to the new look, and it is much more logical. And now, when I switch back to the old look (on my old PC, I still have 2.54) , I cant' find anything there.... so... he needs to give himself a few days, he'll be used to it and doesn't want anything else after

PS: you could've named the thread a bit more to the point though: "New look of Plus!" ermmm... in fact, you still can...

I think it Could you a Bit Heavier colors this is like Lite Messenger PLus! style
