Yes, I really want this feature...I had to enable it once for someone to send some files over when I was away for a while and I didn't like the idea of him being able to listen in to my microphone...if I had a webcam it'd be worse...I don't think I'll use the auto accept feature again until the ability to filter what I let people auto-accept

I totally agree on this. I, myself, caught a guy ind his PJ's by requesting him to send webcam.
I hope this is fixed in the future so that Plus! doesn't automatically accept all of those annoying things like audio and video conversations, games etc.

However, it seems that the biggest problem for most of you is your contacts' ability to view your webcam without your acceptance. Until Patchou gets the auto-accept feature 'fixed', the webcam issue can actually be resolved by using one of Messenger's own settings...
Simply enter your MSN Messenger settings and uncheck "Share my webcam capabilities with others".
Don't worry, you'll still be able to have webcam conversations by clicking the button at the top of a conversation. Only difference is that your contacts won't be able to invite you to start sending webcam.

Of course, this won't solve the games and audio auto-accept, but contacts usually don't invite you to that sort of thing anyway (at least mine don't)

Edit: Sorry, I take that back. Unchecking "Share my webcam capabilites..." will NOT ensure your webcam privacy. One of my contacts just succeeded in inviting me to start sending webcam even though I'd unchecked that box, and of course it was auto-accepted by Plus! instantly. I've now completely disabled AA.

Ok ok, it will be added soon . But right now, I'm nit planning to release another update probably before a month or more. I'm currently preparing to move to a new house, I can't program while I pack my stuff .

Then I suggest that you get some sort of handheld device... Pack with one arm, program Plus! with the other lol.

Thank you very much Patchou, we're all looking forward to it ! I think you took the right decision as it is a quite big privacy and anti-stupid-contacts-bothering-you issue !     I think everyone here appreciates your availability and openness to suggestions, that's what make Plus! the most used add-on on the web.

Great! It's late now, but I wanted to add my "++", I'd requested this feature a couple of times together with many others, so it's great to see it will be added, and also nice to hear you are moving to a new house, congrats!

well i think it will be great to have the auto accetp thing divide by categories or sub menus like:

auto accept
    games
    files
    web cams
    other i miss

and that way plus users can also customise what they wana receive aotumatic

i will love to see that feature update with that i have turned on always
