ctrl + letter suffices and like I said Choli, I don't usually give a damn at what a type. So if it ype /whatever it'll send the command starting with w (if this change were implemented) instead of saying it's an incorrect command and then I can correct my error, rather than pissing my contacts off with random commands.

nooo... Maybe you didn't get me... If you start typing /whatever, at some point (in this case just after typing /w ) the command browser wouldn't show any command (and if you look at the screen you'd notice you're typing a wrong command) but you would be able to continue typing and when you press enter, the message "This is a bad command bla bla bla..." will be shown.

This feature would only add a new way of typing commands, but the way you're used to do now would still be available.

what i think should happen is this.

if all the commands were

/a
/b
/bc
/bcd
/bcde

and you typed
/b

then u'd see
/b
/bc
/bcd
/bcde

then if u wrote /bc, ud see
/bc
/bcd
/bcde

then if u wrote /bcg, u wouldnt see anything

there are lots of places where that happes. for example, in the start > run menu, in the address bar of the browser, etc...
