does anyone know if there is a plug in or something that would enable a user to do a mail check for pop mail by right clicking on the messenger on the taskbar and select "check mail" or something like that? I would be sweet if there is but I dont think there is one... And I like having msgplus check my mail, beats firing up a mail client each time

This isn't currently possible and I haven't seen a plugin that would do this. However, right clicking the messenger icon in the task bar and then clicking "My Email Inbox" will load up your email client and allow you to check for new messages. That's about the closest to what you want.
