Try this;

/syawn /'me yawns

then insert an emoticon from the messenger planel

presumably it should come up

*(!NP) yawns * and play the sound

instead, it plays the sound and shows

/'me yawns

I thought this could be improved to work similar to the /all command

And obviously a slight bug in picking out inserted emotes

if you use emoticons from the messenger panel with tags of commands of plus, they won't work. I'ts a known limitation. Use the messenger plus panel instead

Sounds alot like a bug to me on the plus side, it still works if you enter it manually too

lol, call it how you want, the fact is that that's a known behaviour. (and it's more like a limitation, so don't expect it to be fixed )

But as for the update to inclued '/sound /action' commands?

-Would it be impossible to patch over the Messenger emoticon table with Patchou's one? Wouldn't that make it work?

I'm sure theres 100's of ways of making it work...

Yep it's possible, but Patchou won't do it - patching Messenger is illegal

That's why Plus! has a function to show its emoticon panel when you press (

the way sounds and commands like /me works makes it impossible to do it, and if patchou changes that, it wouldn't be compatible with earlier versions of plus.

you can however create a quick text with the text:

/syawn (!FC56)* (!NP) (!P)

and create the alias /syawn_me for that q. text. The result won't be the same as you expect from "/syawn /me bla bla bla" but would be quite similar.

Sorry, I was a little unclear by 'patch' I didnt mean hacking code, I just ment, maybe turn the original panel off, and picking up the click? or similar.. I don't know, I don't do alot of programming.. but its definatly do'able witout hacking.

Also, I was just using '/sound /action' as an example, theres a fair few commands that would be relivent in conjuction with others, esp the sound commands

Quite obviously I'm picking obscure uses of the commands, but I really cba to think up a less intresting one.

It just feels like something that it should do, but doesn't yet..
