After I installed the Messenger Plus, the IE cannot be opened.
And I unintalled Messenger Plus, IE can be opened again!

What's the matter?

Messenger Plus 3.01.94
MSN 6.2.0137
WIN XP Home Edition 2002, Service Pack 1

Click Start > Run > Type "control panel" without the quotes.

Double Click Internet Options
Click the Advanced Tab at the top
Uncheck the box that says "Enable third-party browser extensions(requires restart)
Click Apply then Ok

Try and open IE with Plus! installed.

But after I do as you told me, when I open IE, some third party extensions cannot be used, such as Google Bar etc.

Can I use these extensions useful for me while operating Messenger Plus and IE?

If you installed Plus! with the sponsor program, try to uninstall Plus! and the sponsor program, and then reinstall Plus! without the sponsor program.

The sponsor program adds a toolbar to Internet Explorer, which interferes with the Google Toolbar. Look at http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=21598 for very detailed instructions on how to remove the sponsor program.

OK, do you still have Messenger Plus! installed? and you were able to open Internet Explorer right?


Try running the Attached program and just post here the items listed in the box. Then I will let you know which to deactivate then you can get your google toolbar back
