To everybody with the "fatal error", are you using polygamy in any way?

the installer don't work...
if the installer half it's way, there comes a message that something failed...
i ignore it and continue the installer, so i start the plugin, typ text and everything, but if i want the code, there stands a message that something don't work or something...
who knows the problem?

If you can ignore it, it's because it's not so important... it probably happened during installation of the RTF components; but there were already all the necessary files, and one of them was locked by another app like Messenger or Word.

What is the exact message please? It's perhaps a problem with XML (but in that case you sould already have an error starting the plugin), or with RTF.
-> Which version of Windows do you have? Do you have MS Word, and which version ? (it's probably an outdated RTF DLL, the one that could not be installed)

Reloaded ColorNick but it's still the same. The french has gone but there is no nickname box at the top like everyone elses.

There is NO nickname box at the top of the Preferences window... What you are showing in the screenshot is the "auto-coloration" feature. To edit your nickname, use /xcolornick command, not /xcolornickcfg . To color your text, use /xcolortext command.

Auto-coloration, when enabled (see the checkbox next to tab's title - in Preferences), colors the text provided as argument to /xcolornick with a default color or gradient, without showing the usual dialog (the one you're looking for).
For example, you enable Auto-coloration for Text, close the Preferences window, and type /xcolortext My Messsage. This message will be colored with a gradient effect from blue to red for example.

Yeah they are meant to be in french .... i think, my OS is french....

I'm guessing one msn uses it and the other gets me the error. For some reason my computer sometimes boots with 2 msn's....

New in this version:

the message that i have when i'm installing it:

The message that i get when i'm click on show code:
[b]er is een onbekende fout opgetreden (code 13). Colernick zou nu instabiel kunnen zijn, wil je colernick nu herladen?

Sounds like the file is in use, close all applacations that could be using it (like Word for example)
