I downloaded and extracted a plugin and i do not know how to install in on Plus so I can use it!!  HELP

you either need to run the installer, if there is one.
if not you need to extract the files to your messenger plus plugins folder
(normally c:\program files\messenger plus!3\plugins)
then restart messenger

can you tell us exactly what plugin you get?

Usually, after extracting (unzipping, i assume) the plugin, you'll find a readme.txt file with special instructions on how to install it. If there isn't such file, just copy the extracted files (there should be at least one .dll file) to the plugins folder of plus (usually c:\prorgam files\messenger plus! 3\plugins  ) and restart messenger. If the plugin doesn't work, you should do something else, but we can't help you more if don't know what plugin is. (you would have to add an entry in the registry and register the plugin).

It is wormssounds plugin and i will try toddy's suggestion before i go messing with my registry, thank you very much!!!!

Ok, Toddy's suggestion worked but this is what it looks like when i do it, why???

that should work. As it's said in a readme file inside wormssound plugin zip:

be sure you have the last version of the plugin: http://www.msgplus.net/pluginsdb/down/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=79

i don't actually have the plugin so i can't help

as i said in the edit ( you may not have noticed it) get the last version of the plugin. If that doesn't work, then the author of the plugins should fix that.

For plugin developers: before the sp121 there is the 0x9 character that was the old one used by plus. now it's 0x12 and the plugins should be recompiled (or cass should get the last version).

no problem, but as choli says. make sure u have got the latest version to fix your problem. (i think it is on the forum)
