Hum. Not a bad idea, but if this was included in Plus! the computer installed on would also have to have Microsoft Client installed, and many inexperienced users on older OS's may not know that this is needed to use the text to speech...There'd have to be an option to turn it off and select it for which contacts...

Don't think that this could be built into Plus!, again many users will not be able to enjoy this feature...Its only a matter of time until MSN implement this in a future version of MSN Messenger, seems to be the way things are going.

3. Mail system. That's not so important, but it would be nice if we were able to give an SMTP server to Plus and then we'll be able to check out mail within Messenger Plus and send emails too.
You can already check when a POP based e-mail account receives new e-mail in Messenger Plus! and open a corresponding program.
Main Messenger Window > Plus! > Preferences > POP3 E-Mail and then check the box Enable POP3 E-mail checker and set up the account on one of the 5 tabs below. However you can not write e-mail in Plus!

Hum. Not bad idea

4c. The ability to view the archived logs from within Messenger without having to open Windows Explorer and navigate to that folder.
Right click on a contact > Messenger Plus! Extras > Open Chat log...but an inbuilt viewer sounds like it may be added...

Hum...that sounds like a bug...never experienced that myself...
