I'm pretty stoked about this, it's the first gadget I've bought in a while, and what a gadget it is!  It's a 15gb 3rd Gen model, (I couldn't stretch my budget to a model with more space, and even if I could then I probably wouldn't be able to justify it seeing as my current collection is only 6gb).  Does anybody know of any cooler easter-egg type secrets on it, or possibly any software add-ons for it, such as being able to pause games or save high scores?

no. there arn't any easter eggs (that i kno of) in the 3G.



but why not get a 4G? they just cam out, are cheaper, and have better battery life.

I ordered it a few hours before the 4g cover of newsweek was released.  I'm not that bothered though, I got my iPod with a dock and inline remote for £175 delivered, which is cheaper than the 4g's, plus I think the new model looks really ugly due to the grey scroll button.

And on B-day I asked for an iPod! I am getting the 4rth Generation new iPod 20GB (I think its the lowest they have for the 4rth Generation).

Those mini-ipods suck. They lost the sleek design and are so ugly and square and the battery life is worse then the 4G and they are missing all the extra crap
