O.P. Dodgy  lil firefox secret
i dont know how many people know this..but i was playing around with firefox, and i stumbled upon these things.

Type "about:firefox" (without quotes) in address bar to get:

Works with Mozilla aswell.

I have tried "about:thunderbird", got nothing (dang). If you know any more secrets or lil thingers like this, plz post them.:)

**As far as I know, IE has nothing like this:), Just another reason to GET FIREFOX:D

Nice that you've found it (Y), but this info is widely known though ;)
Some call it "secrets" or "easter eggs", but these things are very well documented though....

by the way, very usefull ones are:

"about:about" (if you see nothing, then you have a known bug in your build)
"about:config"
"about:plugins"
"about:cache"

Yes it has... try "about:blank".... :p

Or even funnier: try "about:mozilla" in Internet Explorer:
it will give a blue screen similar in colour to the BSOD (get it? mozilla=BSOD... ;)). This is one of Internet Explorer's Easter eggs ;) you gotta love those MS guys (sometimes ;))

about:mozilla works in MSIE :rolleyes:

Although it's a very dodgy easter egg (if you want to call it easter egg at all :dodgy:)

It depends on the build you've got on what you can use....
The about:about should work however, unless that bug is creeped in again that was fixed in the/a previous build.... dodgy programmers :dodgy:

(All info about this can be found on the mozilla pages and their forums)

didn't work in 0.9.1 either, we'll see in 1.0 beta :)

Didn't know that worked in Internet Explorer.  I just downloaded Mozilla today :)  I actually like it I think  perhaps this could be a new page for me
