Sounds a lot like a bot to me. In order to do this, you will have to do one of two things:
1. Packet sniff for MSG packets.
2. Hook the text stuff in the conversation windows directly.

no i think i know what he means.

If a contact sends you a message saying HI he wants a plugin to automatically reply Hi for him (for example if you are in the toilet)

Bob says: Hi jon
Jon says: Hi
Bob says: how are you?
Jon says: Fine thanks and you?

Jon is auto-replying to the things bob is asking, when jon returns from the toilet/ kitchen/ wherever he can type again basically it saves his little fingers from typing

If you still have no idea he wants a customixeable version of the command

what if your only away for a short period and u dont want the other person to leave thinking ur not there. Sometimes u dont have enuff time to put a custom status.

Couldn't this be done in VB by using recieveNotify?...although you'll have to write out a lot of situations and how to respond...

u can make it so that the plugin reads from a text file that the user can edit.

Nope: ReceiveNotify is only called if the message starts with a certain character.
