O.P. [sug] custom names in convos only
currently you have the option of useing custom names on your contact list and if you enable that option you get the option to use custom names in conversations.
i think the two options should be independant if possible so that you can see *current news*(i'm sure you know what i mean)  on your contact list and not have 4 lines of names in your conversation.



[offtopic] wasnt there going to be a regestry entry added for /me commands custom name?[/offtopic]

(Y) good option... only reason i use Stuff-NG... lol

but... it could be a problem like the word filter... you can't make a word thats 4 letters long, become 5.. sorta like there names.. it might take alot of coding and reading into the protocal...

i doubt it but maybe thats why patchou has the custom names in convos reliant on them being in the contact list
