When i try to block a person, i get an error, and i still see they are online but no block icon, i click on their name and it appears they have been blocked.

I will show you the error messages i am getting:

I went on another hotmail account and i never had this problem, and it only started to happen today, any ideas?

The totall list is too full so it wont allow u to block...use Noroom´s Listcleaner to clean up..

your allow list might be full

As for the message history one, I suggest you delete the old file (or rename it to something else) and give Messenger a new start

is the second file a virus?....i can't seem to delete that file..and the link to the 1st one on that forum page does not work...

Try opening your log's with quick view instead.

when you're blocking, are you signing out before the red cross appears on the msn figure?

That happened to me when I tried to block someone. I had like 5 downloads going on in the background. (And I had dial-up).  I stopped my downloads and I could block the contact.

I used the "block all" feature in plus, and since my computer was doing so much stuff it slowed down and stuff, and then my msn would just quit on its way to blocking all the contacts then i would get those pop us saying "so and so could not be blocked"
