Any news about your animated dp's thingy???... I have looked a bit on the source but seem to have a problem with it, I will just PM you about it...

I've got a idea/suggestion how we can succed in sending/reciving the animated dp's.... without creating another connection and then painting over the dp area... but my idea will mean that it will have to go through proxy.... .. which not many ppl like to have because that way we will have to have yet another program running.... some of you programmers here might already have come with the same as my idea, or can guess what I want... I don't want to give out any details atm until I find out if my idea is possible, but I will proberly also need yours help to finish it.... or maybe some pm me, and i'll tell you about it, and then you can create it if you want to.... but I don't think that it is worth it to do it as a proxy because very few ppl will use it then.... ....

i think it would be great if someone can make one that enables animated GIF's

I do not believe this possible really, but would be happy to see it completed. I would personally find constantly moving images annoying and distracting. Although having would be nice

If AOL messanger (boo) can get animated display pics, there has got to be a way to make MSN have it. Has anyone tired makeing soome sort of plugin that downloads their display picture to your computer, and then replaces the still one in the window with that moveing one? Mabey somebody can program it to work like the temperary internet folder. Just have a little popup message box that asks "would you like to download this person's animated display picture." (Agian, like AOL) Mabey have it work like the anysize display picture plugin when you load a new picture, "Would you like to keep the original size" "WOuld you like it aniated"

Just some ideas I hope somebody can work with.

Cant someone make a plugin that would load a pictureor ANIMATION from a url? it wudnt really be using the msn thing which is apparently impossible, it would jus load the picture like with people avatars for the forums....
