What program and what type of project would u need to use to create a flash movie like traxor's banana - cant touch this...i am interested in flash, have the programs and would like to create a movie such as this but cant figure out wat to use...can u please help?

I am not really sure if Traxor's banana was made in Flash...it was like somewhat just a gif animation software or so...


Indeed, the best software to develop a flash file is Macromedia's Flash. Powerful, many things adjustable yet that means many things to learn.

SWiSHmax is quite good if you want something easy to learn. People say SWiSH is only for text effects but I think it does many things far beyond that

I developed my flash animations using Macromedia Flash MX, its quite a simple program, just break down the emoticons and safe the transparent flash frame, and import each one to the library , where did you get the idea that I used a gif animation program mnjul?

as traxor already knows, im making a website for flash animations, i know how to use flash simply, but im not sure how to do sum of the more complicated stuff....if u cud point me to a tutorial that is gd it wud help me

Just search google for flash mx tutorials. you should find a lot of tutorials.

i have produced the movie layer. how would i add sound...in mp3? i can convert it to wav. if needed

i dont know wot file extension is needed but do this:
File->Import->Import To Library->Select the file You Want

Then go to Window->Library

The 'Library' should show up...it should have the sound file in it

You may want to make a new layer for the sound.

With that layer selected, go to the library and click and drag the sound file onto te stage.

A blue wavy line should appear in the timeline.

Then click on the start of the sound file and drag it to where u want it to start.

There is probably a quicker way to do this but i dont know it

thanx for the layer tip. it works betta i fink...but wen i press test project the song plays but the starts agen...so its got the original playin then the new one playin so both are playin at diferent points of the song.....why is it doing this??
sorry if dats confusing...basically it plays then the song plays agen over the original song playing....

errm add the action script to stop all sounds before starting the new sound like add the action script into the first frame of a new keyframe should look like

old sound           | A New Sound
________________________________

where they are both key frame sets and the A is an action script in that frame
