im asking this for a friend, she has pluged in her mic and every thing , save every time she starts an audio convo with anyone the mute butten for her end is pressed and wont unclick. whats is the problem? its been like this for a few days, since she hucked up her new computer. help! the attacment shows the butten im talking about, and ya shes tryed clicking on it.

It was moved because it had nothing to do with Messinger plus, it was about MSN, also please dont double post, use the button The only thing i can thing of that is stoping her uncheck the un-mute button is a problem with her sound adaptor. She should check to see if she can record with anouther program to test the sound adaptor. Also has she checked the volume levels in windows?
