Hi,

I remeber reading a while ago that someone had changed the background of the main MSN Messenger window (the one with contacts etc). I have searched everything but I can't find the post now. I know you had to just copy the file into some filename in the MSN Messenger bit in Program Files or something but I can't remeber exactly what.

Can anyone help?

That doesn't work with any MSN Messenger versions above 6.0 anymore. (To my knowledge).

And it was something like.. lwback.gif I believe.

Yeah.. u only have to make the image you wanna put a gif, and then rename it as IVback.gif .
Erase the one on the msn messenger forlder and add the one you created .
Its easy

I can't see a file called lvback in the MSN Messenger folder, I see...

Its not there by defult, but if you create your own one it will use it.

but if you reinstall msn messenger i think that the problem should be solved
but it could also be the msgplus (if you are useing msgplus)

There is no problem here..

And yes, it is absent by default, which is why in the background you don't see an image. just fetch a gif, rename it, and put it there, restart MSN Messenger, et voila.
