Hello everyone,

I have some great news! tonight I've finally been able to fix the annoying password problem that was causing so much troubles in the encryption feature. The bug was in the "remember my password" option. If you are using this option, Messenger Plus! 3.20 will ask you for your password again after the upgrade to make surethat the correct password is stored and used later on.

One other good reason to update! I apologize to everyone who suffered the consequences ofthis bug in the past, this won't happen again so you can stop worrying and start using the encryption feature again in a few days when the new version will be released.

LyndonW is the one who helped me fix the problem... the bug was so intense for this guy that I was finally able to locate it .

Also glad to hear, no more disappointing... Unfortunatly all your chat logs are lost. Your going to have to try and delete them and reinstall Plus! loosing all your settings.

I wouldn't say the chat logs are completely lost. I had a one in particular that had some very important legal information in it that I had to get into. I managed to finaly get into it after trying a billion different things (took a couple hours). I just kept on retarting plus, my computer, tried it on other people's computers... tried moving it back into the folder and writing over it with a new password, tons of stuff. Eventually it just opened... not sure why. If you have a file that you desperately need opened then it does seem possible to open it.. it just might take a while. If there's nothing important in them I'd just delete them.

Any way to get the old fucked up logs opened? I'vve got one I really need to open, and I've been trying for 3 days!
