My webcam all of a sudden disconnects wen im usin it with msn. is there a solution?

what made of webcam is it ? and does it work when your not on msn ??

im using my eyetoy wich i bought for ps2. i no its a bit dodgy but the drivers r upto date and i can use it outside of msn. i dint used to have this problem b4 but it now has started
this also happens with my microphone
