Hello , is this a bug ??


everytime i set the custom contact names for people on my list and tick the option of display custom contact names (enables "view by email")

and also the other option of "Use custom contact names while chatting "\

the Names in the contact list changes to the custom names but i see the email address of the user while chatting in the chat window

please help

you go to Plus > Preferences > [wherever you find custom names] > and untick use custom contact names while chatting

Did you see the attachment Traxor ?

I have selected both the options (boxes are ticked)

After setting this option, all conversation windows have to be closed then reopened. Some times MSN Messenger even needs to be restarted.

i restarted msn messenger and tried later even restarted my computer but the result is still the same

If you are using StuffPlug-NG for Time Stamps try and disable that, or disable a Time Stamp plugin that you are using.
