how about a plugin that allows you to send your contacts your mulitple e-mails, like in the import/export contact feature, but in stead of exporting all of your caontacts how about you can export only a certain group, to send your your freinds.

nice idea

Two things come into my mind:
1) You can easly export your contactlist, edit the file and send it
2) I'm 100% sure that there are contacts on your list that will not appriciate it that you share their emails...

the contacts are my family, mom, dad, aunt,uncle,cousins

That's not the responsibility of the plugin but of the user. He must decide which addresses to send...

So I can legit write a program that will kill your HD without getting the blame? cool...

What I mean is, yes it is part the responsibilty of the plugin writer. If the plugin writer is a responsible guy/girl s/he will not make this kind of plugin because s/he knows it would be used in inresponsible ways...

And this is something which can very easly be done without a plugin...

I think it's legal as long as the user commands the plugin to send the list. Why would this be illegal? He could also type the addresses manually , so that's why I think it's the responsibility of the user

I didn't say it is ILLEGAL, I never talked about legal/illegal.... I said it is also the responsebility of the plugin maker, cause s/he will aid in dodgy activities, and that your contacts will not appriciate this. The plugin will have a bad reputation, hence the plugin maker will have a bad reputation, hence he is also responsible.

While I agree with Cookie, I must mention that the plugin maker can write a disclaimer absolving him/her of all responsibility. However, given people don't read stuff (re: sponsor), I for one won't consider such a plugin.
