while browsing the 7.0 exe with reshack i see this in one of the UIFILES:

DDP im guessing is Dynamic Display Pictures, then i see flash, think they are gonna be done in flash?

Could it be possible to add DDP's?

Wonder if it is possible to add them somehow. Does anyone know anything aobut hte map.dat file? how would i decrypt that to manually add a dispaly picture?

no the name "dynamic display picture" like in ADP

DDP is deluxe display pictures on the beta program

Neither Flash nor Anitmated GIFs work in the current beta

We will have to wait, even though we know or know almost certianly they will be there because the option is there.

please say something else other than you jsut plain knwo what you are talkinga bout, have you tried? what have you tried?

I am talking about editing the map.dat file and manually adding a display picture thats a flash file (or a cabbed flash file) renamed to .dat of course

does anyone know anything about the map.dat file? how can i decrypt it to manually add display pictures?

see that part , that means that we can use flash scripting.. imagine all the evil we coud cause to other peoples computers..
like it installing spyware to steal credit card numbers,

i dont think they will be in FLASH.. and if they are, they will have some scripts disabled..
