When I use it, the patch won't work! It says something about an invalid file.

Also, Windows Messenger won't exit. It says it cannot exit becuase other things depend on it such as Express or Net explorer. So I've close them and it STILL won't work!

  what OS u using? WindowsXP?  or ME?  if we had more details of the exact error would help . this should be in Help & Support

what patch is that? CVR patch or polygammy?

CVR and I use XP

are you closing msn messenger? systray and all?

im not sure but maybe the patch is not for the msn7 version that you have

as for window messenger try:
going to tools > options > preference
uncheck "run window messenger when windows starts"
restart comp, it should work...

Yes I closed it in the systray, and thanks for that.

Guess I'll just have to try again.

With the recent down time of MSN Messenger it was also to prevent people from using the build 7.0.0205. There is a newer version that is available. But this is as far as this thread should go. We are not supposed to be helping people who are having problems with MSN Messenger 7 because it is Beta, and since you are not an offical tester, it is illegal to be using it.
