Shoutbox

It would be useful to add something where you could type in commands without opening comversation windows. Maybe put placed inside the MSN contact window. It would be useful because that way people who are new to Plus! would be able to figure out how to use commands, such as blkgrp. Another thing is that you could use this quick custom status changes.

That way new Plusers would be able to find out where the heck to type commands. Of course, an option to turn this off should be included, since veterans might find this annoying.

This has been mentionned before (by me among others), but so far, Patchou has opted to focus on other features.

However if it were to be implemented, I agree with the option to disable it, and I also thing a system-wide shortcut key (like for boss protection) would be a good idea.

This probably goes without saying, but it should hide with boss protection.

Another thing, it should be able to be docked into the contact window (special place under friendly name maybe?) or floating.

Maybe, if it is added, it could go on the bottom and take the place of the ad banner. I like this idea

Might i ask just what commands you would use?

I don't really see the use for commands here, but I understand tags. You don't always want one of your contact's having your IP or what not. So I could see this being used most by tages like (!IP), (!PVER), and (!VER)

CTRL + ~ to pull down a console box which hides once a command is executed

only if i know more c++ to make a decent plugin....

I generally just open a random window, the nifty little command checking stops any invalid commands actually getting sent as text to the person

It would be useful if you wanted to test out plugin commands and tags like (!IP) (!VER) (!PVER). Like Ddunk said.

I like it, but this has been suggested I think
