Anyone know (aka WDZ ) why my forums display random ASCII characters @ the top and bottom of all non-admin pages? Everything works fine...it's just annoying

It's mybb RC 4 and it installed/operates without any noticable errors....just the annoy ascii's

im gonna guess its sum8 to do with your host !!!! rather then sum8 to do with mybb

are u sure that your host doesn't add its own header to your pages ? so that it can add adverts or make pop ups ?

i think that he already has a good theme

I remember that weird behaviour being reported before. I think it was related to a certain server setting (related to Linux (?)).

Well its ok yea, but its a little bit weird, the top logo is still white, and you can see the rectangle around it


Maybe there is something wrong with your site, and the banners that your host may try and put on don't support php or something and screw it up..

It's possible....I guess

Yeah, it has happened before. I think the combination of MyBB's gzip page compression and some server settings caused it. Just disable gzip in the MyBB settings for a temporary fix...
