can someone please give me that program thing to remove msn messenger 4.7? or else tell me what i type in "run" to take it out of the startup? thanks

Remove from startup: Type msconfig into run and select the startup tab. Deselect Msn Messenger.

Delete from computer: Run the uninstall package, or go to Settings Panel>Add Remove Programs> MSN Messenger 4.7

I think you're not referring to MSN Messenger, but to the Windows Messenger that comes with Windows XP.

If you wish to get rid of that one, I'd advise you to take a look at CookieRevised's reply to I am about to rip my hair out over MS Messanger for a very detailed description of how to do this without causing further problems
